Two things, cheap, four nights a week. Every well drink is $4 and every Michelob is $3.50 from the time the doors open at 6 until 9, Tuesday through Friday, at Tokyo Joe's Shot Bar at Beall and 20th in the Heights. No cover, no app, no card to sign up for.
It's a shot bar before it's a nightclub, so the early crowd is a different animal: people off work, the Heights neighbors, the group that's "just doing one" before dinner. By 9 the specials change over to whatever the night is: karaoke on Wednesdays, College Night Thursdays, y2k Fridays. By 10 it's loud.
Saturdays open at 4 with $5 Vodka Red Bulls till 10 instead. Sundays are open 6 to 2 with no special and no excuses. Mondays we're closed and so should you be.
Industry night, team happy hour, the office pretending to bond? Hold a section and we'll work around you.
